Tato stránka je věnována genealogii rodu Riesenfelder - Risenfelder, jehož první příslušníci přišli v polovině 16. století do Jihlavy z Mostu. Rod se bohatě rozvětvil a působil v Jihlavě přes čtyři sta let. Nejvýznamnější postavou byl Lucas Adalbert Risenfelder, který byl povýšen císařem Ferdinandem III. do šlechtického stavu. Mnoho let byl primátorem a na konci života císařským rychtářem v Jihlavě. Koncem 18. století a počátkem 19. století jedna z větví přesídlila do Jaroměře a Vysokého Mýta. Budou zde publikovány informace z historie tohoto rodu a rodů spřízněných. This site deals with the genealogy of the Riesenfelder – Risenfelder dynasty, whose first members came to Jihlava from Most in the mid 16th century. The family settled in Jihlava and ramified abundantly over four centuries. The most notable personality of the dynasty was Lucas Adalbert Risenfelder who was promoted to the nobility by the Emperor Ferdinand III. For many years he served as the Mayor and, towards the end of his life, as the Imperial Magistrate in Jihlava. One of the family branches relocated to Jaroměř and Vysoké Mýto at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. The site has been designed to publish the information from the history of this dynasty and the related families. Perhaps the stories from the lives of the family members in the past will attract the attention of the still living Riesenfelders and will engage the interest in further examination of the dynasty's history. The statistics by the Ministry of Interior document only one family (of three members) bearing the name Riesenfled living today at the territory of the Czech Republic.
